Your Instructor
An accomplished musician, Patrick Worley has been playing guitar for over half his life. Soon after picking up this instrument, he decided to make his life’s work the exciting task of making good music founded in knowledge and understanding of music theory. It is this outlook on music that has enabled Patrick to develop into an award winning, multi-faceted artist. A performer, composer, teacher, and songwriter Patrick received a music scholarship to study classical guitar with no prior education on the instrument. During the course of his studies, Patrick was selected to study with professors and performers of international acclaim, such as faculty from the Juilliard School, Peabody Conservatory, and Cleveland Institute of Music.
Patrick’s many accolades stretch beyond classical music. Having spent a decade working in the Nashville music scene, Patrick has shared the stage and the studio with some of the industry’s great artists and songwriters. He has performed across the United States and World supporting rock, country and pop artists. As an artist, Patrick fuses his training in classical music with the real world application of popular music effortlessly, giving audiences unforgettable and awe-inspiring shows every time he takes the stage.
Patrick currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, performing around town when he’s not traveling to concertize. He plays the many venues and wedding chapels frequently in addition to maintaining an active private studio of students in guitar, piano, bass, banjo and mandolin. Patrick holds both a B.S. in Music Business and a B.M. in Guitar Performance from Middle Tennessee State University as well as a M.M. in Music Education from University of Nevada where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is prior music faculty at both UNLV and Dixie State University in St. George, Utah.
